The house was alot more open than I had expected from the pictures. The kitchen and living room area are not enclosed at all. The house is literally in the jungle, sometimes a salamander will be crawlin along the railing inside. We have to clean up our food right after or ants and fruit flies are there nibblin away so fast.
Having the living room and kitchen outdoors was really weird at first but feels so comfortable now. Fresh breeze and the bugs are no trouble at all. We have bug nets over our beds, I used mine one night but would be fine without it. We have a shower in the backyard that is built facing the jungle. Its pretty sweet, we call it the death shower. It has electrical wiring running to the top of it as it it has an element or something in it that flash heats the water as it runs out. Its not super hot but not bad, I was happy enough to have hot water.

The house has a two bedroom room upstairs and a double bed room downstairs. We cut for rooms and mooks won the single.I'll take some pictures of hte house and put them up. The owner showed us around the property and how to get to the beach, it's not a very far walk away at all, closer than I though.
They have a bunch of different fruit trees on their property, lychee nut, starfruit and another I can't remember. She gave us a bunch of lychee nuts and bananas. Both taste so deadly. The lychee nuts are this red fruit about the size of a golfball, you twist off the outer skin and inside is something slighlty larger than a grape with a nut inside. It tastes kinduv like a grape but not really and the nut is eatable too.
We chilled at teh house for a while and then decided to goto the beach for a swim. The sand on this beach is very black, it looks like the beach would be really shitty from the colour, but its super fine and practically deserted. It was an awesome swim. We're not sure why the sands black, Mooks figured from the volcano's, sounds reasonable.
Sun sets early here, around 6, once it gets dark we are basically back at home here, so makes the days slightly short. will be getting up earlier as the days progress I'm sure, need to take advantage of as much daylight as possible.
