got me's a surfboard

Slow start to the day. Lounged around for quite a while before we decided to head into town. We did a little shopping, buying some clothes and checking out surfboards. I ended up buying a shortboard, only longboarded before so this will probably be quite a challenge. The shortboards are less stable and zip along quicker so

tougher to keep up.

This old skinny guy with long white hair approached us in the store area and started telling us jokes and showing us card tricks. He showed us a cool dice trick, got a few bucks off us, was well worth it. Pretty entertaining.

We bought some leechee nights and then headed to the beach to catch some waves. Rob and mooks rented a couple boogie boards. We parked beachside and stayed there for most of the afternoon. This was on the same blacksand beach that we went swimming in before.

Waves weren't that great, breaking fairly close to the shore. Grabbed some groceries and then headed back to the house.

There was a stream trail that the owner told ust to follow up to a swimming hole, so we decided to check that out before it got too dark. We walked up the trail for about 5 minutes and came to a swimming spot at the base of a bunch of rocks with water running down them. The swimming hole wasn't very deep, only about waist hight so we just ended up heading back home for some pasta.

Mooks tries out death shower at night and see's it sparking at the top, guess we couldn't see that in the daylight. Skeeeeeetchy.
