We booked a zip line canopy tour for today, I wasn't really sure what to expect other than seeing some cool stuff from up in the trees.
We met up with the tour guide group at 1ish and then took a 20 minute zip into the jungle, weaving down narrow roads overhanging with green. On the way to the zip lines we stopped and saw a sloth hanging out in
a tree, slowly eating a leaf. Was alot smaller than I expected, maybe a baby one?
Arrived and walked up to the zip lines passing by what I think were lemon and lime trees, or some citrus fruit. We got harnessed in and put on some helmets and were good to go. It turned out it was around a 15 zipline course through the trees, with some hiking up and through the jungle. Near the end of the course there was a large tarzan rope swing! I was really impressed with the zip lines, exceeded my expectations, was so neat being up near the top of a huge tree and then racing zipline through the jungle to the next platform. So much fun :)
After that we drove to some other random town(Bribri), found some earphones for mooks and grabbed a meal. No one spoke english at the restaurant we stopped at, and the menu was all in spanish, so it was a kinda random pick order. We knew "pollo" which was chicken so I got some dish that had that in the title. Turned out pretty alright, nothing like random meals.
Internet has been horrible lately, lucky to get online here, was so good the first few days.
