turrialba

Cleaned up the jungle house a bit and then got on the road about 11am headed for Turrialba. The road wasn't too bad, aside from a really steep climb along a narrow road up a mountain (getting to be standard now I guess?), view from the top was amazing, got a vid of it and a bunch of pictures.

Arrived with plenty of daylight to try and find our next house, it was a good thing we left so early as this is when the chaos began. We were supposed to go to the "Fuji photo store" in Turrialba to pick up

the house keys and pay, when we pulled in we realized how ridiculous those directions were. The town (apparently city) was alot bigger than expected and there was no way we were going to find a photo store by driving around in the chaos.

We had directions to the house which was in a neighbouring small town so we figured thats where the photo store must be, so backtracked to that town, couldn't find a photo store, but did find the road to our house. We headed back into the city and this time we noticed a small photo shop immediatley upon entering, we stopped there to check if that was the place. It wasn't. But a guy there knew who we were talking about and knew where there family home was so we followed him to their house. We got out and met a lady who was the house renters sister and she hopped into our vehicle to take us to the fuji store where someone was workign with keys to give us. We get to the store and give the money but they won't give over the keys till we sign some contract which they emailed us but we had no way to print out. So we go find an internet hotspot, get it printed it, go back to the fuji store, get the keys, drop off the sister. Leave the city, head to the town, find the road and head down it and its not looking very promising. Road is getting bad and the houses are not that great looking. I hadn't seen the house online and Robin couldn't really remember what it looked like. We stopped multiple times asking for directions cuz we couldn't find it. First 2 stops no one knew, third one was guys buddy and he hopped in and led us down the shittiest road we driven on so far here, but we got to the house, and just as the sun was setting :), so we were happy.

We pull up to the house and its awesome. Its way bigger than expected, has a huge master bedroom with ensuite, bedroom downstairs, balcony around entire place, ping pong room w/ foozball, big kitchen area. Was nice to see, and I'll be safe from the bugs here. Chilled out and watched anger management. No internet here for 5 days or so, so that sucks but won't be too bad.
