Whitewater Rafting part 2

Midway through we stopped for lunch on an embankment/small beach area. Had an awesome meal, every adventure tour I've been on where you have to do alot of physical activity seems to feed you so well. Tasty, healthy and as much as you can eat, was the exact same in Australia while doing the surf camp. We flipped over the raft, put a tablecloth down and they laid out the meal for us on top of it :).

There was some bread leftover and they threw some in the river, tons and tons of tiny fish immediately were jumping and grabbing and

fighting for it. The guide called them vegetarian piranhas (said they were from the piranah family but wouldnt attack). It was really surprising to see how many of them there were instantly whenever even the tiniest piece of bread was thrown in, throughout the entire rafting we didn't see any other fish in the water (but did see a random horse out there).

The class IV rapids were alot trickier and we really had to work to get through them in short bursts, came close to falling out a couple times but we all managed to stay in the raft the entire trip.

Near the end of the trip we headed through a narrow passage that had a bridge running across it above us and was alot more enclosed. We jumped out of the raft and floated along for quite a while, it was awesome, the water carrying us down the river while we just sat in our lifejackets and chilled.

Was easily one of the more memorable things I've done in my life, everyone has to try it. I want to go at least one more time on this trip at some point. There is talk of extending the trip another month, not really sure yet, but I could see it happening.

We're all just chilling out at the house waiting for a home cooked meal which is happening in about an hour :).
