Sitting in decent shape with 32 people left. Above average chip stack, was alot higher with about 2 hours left but spewed away too many chips on the bubble. Made some good value bets yesterday but also played some hands kinda poorly, stack should be at least 260k, maybe over 300 if i'd played a bit better. It's sitting at 191k right now, so got lots of play still. I plan on getting doubled up by a scandi early on today, not a tough thing to do.
Table draw at beginning of tournament was kinda mickey mouse, they told me it was random draw, rob and I and another guy in line behind us all registered at the same time and we all ended up on the same table. I'm skeptical as to how random the draws truly
are here. First table was a pretty tough one and the my tables got easier as I broke (usually its the reverse in a tournament).
Day 1 got some chips early on but then bluffed off half my stack into humberto brenes in a semi marginal spot(when he had the nuts) and then had to listen to his jibber jabber.
Money bubble was pretty funny, so many guys blinding down to nothing. One guy was all in on his small blind but had 200 left for his ante, and opted to fold it. Next hand he was auto all in and so was another short stack, ante guy survived and other short stack busted so he made it :P.
Lost three small flips yesterday, but did win all my all in's where I was ahead.
Alright playin in a few hours, haven't even seen the beach up here yet, I hear its pristine, jaco beach wasn't that great.
First day internet is workin in our condo here, internet is so unreliable in this country, super annoying.
